I’m Le Anne and I write a blog called Tinsel & Tine (Reel & Dine) it’s about discovering what I find pleasing in Food and Film. Post alternate between Restaurant and Food Event Reviews and Film Commentary and Film Festival Coverage, all from the perspective of a lover of good eating and good storytelling!

In my youth, I began a career in the culinary arts, but soon realized it was too many hours, didn’t like wearing the chef attire and got burned (literally) a couple of times. I was too “girlie” for this type of work, but I never stopped loving the joy of eating and especially dining. The intense pleasure I receive when stepping foot inside a restaurant, even if it’s a local diner, is a complete high that never wanes.
